It’d make a great choice for later in this forum’s life, when it gains more traction. Until then this’ll work fine but the expanded capabilities would make it much friendlier for more than a dozen or so active users.
Not to mention the better UI, and there’s also many plugins for Discord and Steam connectivity.
This is just a forum, not a complete website like Bukkit, Spigot etc.
It does not need any of that. No wiki, no resource manager etc.
Thats what discourse for: no bloated software, it only focuses on the forum part.
