Well chief, let’s start with the fact that hangars never connect directly to the runway if it’s a major airbase (hill, eglin, andrews, etc) but I guess it would work if it was something like that one airbase down in the arctic. But, small airbases like that are really nothing more than a dirt runway and a few tents for on-site personnel.
