Servers should be able to have more options to do stuff like that, and maybe even in singleplayer later down the line people should be able to set custom loadouts and things like that, enable it on/off, and have more customization options. I think by default it should be naked just as a baseline.

The question is, does the problem of all players appearing naked also make everyone look the same? This argument has no logical basis, since you can customize your character in various ways, skin color, hair, etc., appearing naked or wearing some clothes will not take away your character’s identity.

Now it’s just a tie.
Well, you will put on clothes later anyway if thr clothes you start off with are bad, so why have clothes to start with?
If you are going to hurt yourself eventually, what is the point of spawning with 100% of the hp? the question is what is the problem with coming up with bad initial clothes? eventually you will find better ones, just like you spawn naked, I just think that being spawn in clothes makes more sense.
