Is it possible that we could / would get an app for this on phones / mobile?

Any phone should be able to create an “app” that’s essentially just a browser shortcut, which is what I’d recommend doing.
A dedicated app isn’t something we’re working on right now, and I’m doubtful there’s any substantial benefit to creating one. The SDG Blog doesn’t provide a service that would benefit users like traditional dedicated apps would (e.g., interactive store apps). However, you can suggest changes to the current mobile viewing experience, or critique aspects of the sites as they already appear on mobile, which would be beneficial.
Even without a dedicated app, sites can have various mobile-exclusive layouts and such. Both the SDG Blog and the SDG Forum already have a few components that only show up on a mobile screen.

Cool, but as user @newlogan has asked before, when will users be permitted to say the “neighbor” word? This would strictly be in a friendly and non-malicious way.
