Currently, even when using “LOD Area” utilizing the “Occlusion Area” component, the final result outputs a single Culling Volume. As some buildings(Objects) are concave they require multiple boxes to accurately represent the shape.
This has always been a real pain for me recently. Especially for buildings with real weird, small, and ‘dynamic’ geometry (structures with curves).
Seeing objects outside the structure popping in and out of view is really icky. I’d also hope for something like fading LODs to make it much less noticeable, either that or I’m just a dum-dumb who doesn’t know how to use LODs and Volumes properly.
