Most sliding doors are glass. A battering ram against glass would be overkill. If they were solid (i.e a fully wooden sliding door) a battering ram would easily knock it off it’s tracks.
I think that’s what he’s getting at - there would be different sliding doors but he probably intended one made of wood or even sheet metal, though the classic glass patio door comes to mind
