Better ragdoll physics

Hello guys,what do you guys think about a realistic ragdoll physics system for the zombies and also players?,would be alot interesting to have zombies/players falling on the ground instead of flying some meters when being shot in the head by literally any weapon in the game.

Ex:Shotguns will make zombies/players fly some meters if being shot close enough.

I vouch against this due to Unturned being a naturally silly game. The ragdolls are part of that experience, so no thanks.

Agree with Animatic, the silly ragdolls are what made Unturned = Unturned. In fact, i was one of the people fighting for him to not remove the instant-rocketshiptothemoon glitch in way early 3.0 that happened if you were lucky when you killed a zombie.

Since ragdolls will be lootable, I feel that it’s more important to make them behave repeatably and predictably for that function, than to have them add to either the silly or realistic aesthetics/atmosphere of the game. Of course, repeatability doesn’t necessarily conflict with either silliness or realism, but I can’t see how one of the two is objectively “better” than the other.

I mean you are right but we could have silly ragdolls that dont affect the loot by making them drop a box when they die . Idk if this is better but there is just something in watching your enemies lose all their joints or fly away when they die

I think it’s fine as long as they don’t fling away tbh. Because of being able to access a dead person’s inventory I’d want their corpse to be accessible to do so.
