Can’t wait for this to get closed by SDG once again. If this gets forcefully closed, it only shows they are trying to decentralize the conversation and suppress the communities voices.

What do you guys even want to hear from them, they wont answer in any way as it would be bad for their reputation this topic about curated map developers ban will be silenced later on and nobody will get answers about real purpose of banning them, we just need strict answer from SDG why did they got banned and I dont think we will get this answer

They are a company and free speech doesn’t matter. Free speech doesn’t stop the consequences of what happens when people say something. it only stops them from getting arrested, nothing else. Unless they are defaming someone, which is a crime.
If Nelson is smart and actually cares about his community, he’ll revert these horrible changes. If you want to stop associating with some people, that’s your right, but nobody’s content should be removed / unlisted, especially the content in question.

Unturned is cooked. The entire game is in the hands of these map developers. If they decide to remove these maps it’s wraps. (Which aIot of people would probably do if I they were them)

People are not grasping what it means for a curated map to be removed from its curated status.
The most prominent thing in-game showing off a map’s curated status was the ‘Curated’ list in the singleplayer menu. For the most part, players that know what map they want to play will typically just use the workshop. And it isn’t like those maps are not being used on any servers anymore. After the change takes effect, players will still be able to get on their favorite Arid, A6, etc. server and play like normal. No content is actually being removed except for the spots where the maps were featured as curated.
