In 3.0, the item descriptions for a lot of items were bland. For example, a lot of the guns had redundant descriptions. I hope Nelson allows us to submit item descriptions for certain items.

- There are automatically generated descriptions for items in 4 that provide basic details like caliber.
- In addition to the above, there are still going to be manually-created details regarding things like lore-relevance or manufacturer.
- You could just use a custom localization. :I

What should happen is that you could add custom descriptions to you guns, like tf2. Some games allow you to upload a custom crosshair from your pc files, maybe it could be like that? or actually like tf2 where on your weapon skin you can add a custom phrase.

I mean, yeah some games do, but that’s not really what the post is asking for. This is about in-game item descriptions, not skins (economy items in general are a whole different ballpark since they may not be as plentiful).

Nelson could do a competition for the best descriptions for items he’ll make/add in the next devlog. He’ll just post the listed items at the bottom of the Devlog and people can make entries in the devlog threads
I was just suggesting that if you wanted a more funny or descriptive description, then you could add it onto your weapon skins.
