During the 2.0t here was once an old dev stream of the Arizona map and it was cancelled at some point because WarZ devs said they are making an Arizona map and Nelson thought he would get spammed by WarZ fanboys because they think he his copying Warz. Since then WarZ is a dead game you can’t even buy. So there just might be a little hope it could be remade. What you do you think about this ?

So a MOSTLY desert map?
I think this would be interesting for diversity.
Yes,from the dev stream it was mostley desert but still had some small amount of vegetation. It had a bridge and a dam and that was all that was ever seen of the map.
It could use a heat mechanic which would be interesting for survival. There wasn’t ever wasn’t an desert official nor curated map in the game.
I’m all for more open maps so that’s a plus in my book. Also Arizona has some beautiful locations, especially when it rains.
There isn’t a reason as to why it couldn’t be a future map. I think it would make for a fun and interesting location.
Pineridge though, hmmm. I wonder what’ll come out of that. Looks really nice.

Honestly if there were to be a desert map, why not pick Australia (this is totally not because it’s my home country).

Exactly why it would be a great map. Who needs guns when you have knives?
Australia has the Outback and I think that could be an interesting setting. Maybe Nelson could add some secrets in that area to make it worth exploring.

What I meant by massive and diverse area is that Australia is too big and diverse to be all in one map. There are actually guns in Australia, but they aren’t as well spread or balanced between military, police, and civilian locations.
I’d be down for an Australia or Texas map. More so Australia if we were showcasing the deserts though.
Well, Canada also has very few guns because of arms restriction.
That didn’t stop Nelson though, he still put gun shops in PEI
I think if Australia map was a thing. Cities like Melbourne or Sydney should be in the starting area with mainly civilian and medical loot. I think Texas would be a good option too for a map.
Canada doesn’t have as strict gun laws as Australia. There are actually guns that are legal to purchase in Canada, which can’t even be imported into the U.S.
Well there would be a lot of AUGs in the military bases. And most guns are hunting rifles, which would probably be found at things such as gun ranges. The laws are strict, but there are still firearms in Australia, just not that many and they’re basically all hunting rifles.
