If C4 blows up a wall or a base, rubble should be left over that can be reused. If a player gets hit by a shockwave from an explosion, they should be blown away a little, and should take time to get up. It may also have a small chance of losing the item they were holding. If a player gets killed by the blast radius of an explosion, their body should be on fire, and their items will lose durability, or become completely destroyed.

Spelling fixes made.
The game with most realistic explosion effects I’ve seen recently has been Insurgency (on what explosion-player experience concerns, not explosion-structure), and damn, that sh*t is what explosives in 4.x should be.
Also, about C4 charges, it should be possible to build up a custom amount of C4 in a single charge, caring about weight and so (the heavier the charge, the stronger the boom will be).
There are my thoughts… Explosives in 3.x are so dumb
