Full 4.0 weapon wishlist (With custom names)

What? No just no.

.22 Long Rifle is not a firearm. It’s a cartridge used in many different firearms.

didn’t knew about 22long rifle, i ain’t a gun specialist.
And about M107, its an anti-material rifle, and i think it should be balanced .

It’s balanced by the fact that you’re wasting a large amount of lead and propellant on each shot and has a lot of recoil. Maybe if we had a BfV like movement system you could get knocked onto your ass by the recoil when standing, but being incapable of firing without a bipod deployed doesn’t make sense. videogames that fuck with your audio are obnoxious. How would you train the skill to be able to fire the rifle, before you’ve unlocked the ability to fire the rifle?

I don’t see much point of this thread, or how it will help nelson.

Its discussion. If you are saying that only things that can help nelson should be posted then half the board should just be UE4 guides and tutorials.

Also yeah skills required to use a gun would be terrible. Imagine having a 10 minute long fire fight with some guy with far better gear then you, killing him only to realize that you cant even shoot his gun because you dont have the super situational skill required for it. Thats not how you balance end game loot. You balance it by making it hard to get (via loot barriers like gas masks and direct danger through turned and the amount of other players that are probably near the area)

@THEMAX94120 the FAMAS already exists in 3.0 as the Fusilaut (though it needs intense tweaking). The others you suggested aren’t solid either.

This post isn’t about 3.X.

I mention 3.0 because the starter move about weapons would be to import vanilla existing ones to UII, as it happened with the Eaglefire.

Nelson hasn’t said anything about not bringing some specific weapons into the new game, so all possibilites are still open.

Pretty sure the G19 is fairly confirmed, because it was used as a placeholder similar to the eaglefire and I dont think it has a 3.0 counterpart.

The g19 is already in the game. I think it is in devlog 3

As mentioned above, the G19 was implemented into Unturned II long ago (sometime after the Eaglefire’s original design). It was added when dual-wielding was being actively worked on and experimented with. It made a brief appearance in one the earliest Devlogs, which I’ll assume was Devlog #003.

However, since then, there’s been no public information about it. Dual-wielding was shelved in favor of other priorities for a long time, and as far as we know it hasn’t been revisited. Dual-wielding may be revisited (alongside quick reloading) while Nelson continues to work on the updated animations.

The mesh is incredibly old though, and I assume Nelson would want to redo it. We haven’t ever seen a close-up of the model, but it was made around the time where the Eaglefire’s model was still being tweaked over time, and before we had solid information regarding the newer attachment system and rail systems.

That being said, Nelson is tweaking (or redoing) so much stuff right now, so just about anything can have a question mark at the end of it. Personally, I think the G19 will still make an appearance, and is still basically confirmed, but I don’t know if it’ll make that appearance by the first few(?) closed betas.

AK-74u is a carbine, not an SMG, SCAR-H is a battle rifle close to DMR, not an assault rifle, g36C is also a carbine and as well SKS in almost every game its considered a DMR but it is actually a carbine.

Fancy, good names. But i should keep the p90 as peacemaker.

Bah, same rifle family, the parts are virtually swapable.

The Eaglefire was officially based on the AR-15 in 3.X and officially will be based on the m4 in 4.X, I just got the two confused. The point about it not being an m16 just because you feel like it still stands either way.
