It pains me that there is a distinct lack of universes that have magic in a modern-day setting, yet fail to integrate it into technology.
Take Harry Potter, for example, while we’re on the subject. They can make wands out of unicorn hair and phoenix feathers, and yet I’m somehow supposed to suspend my disbelief that all these bright minds can’t come up with a way to write spells on bullets?
So much wasted potential. I want my magic guns.
