It looks like the ambiance volumes on both Russia and Germany are set up the same. The forum’s image compression makes the screenshots look a bit worse than they actually are in-game, but I think the issue here is a mix of things.

Germany’s caves don’t really have any contrasting colors, so it’s hard to make out definition when using night vision (rather than a light source).

Germany has a thick fog, and night vision goggles have additional fog intensity.

Civilian Nightvision’s night vision color is a bit darker than the daytime lighting of most maps.
