-NoWin32Console

Server Console:

  • Hosts can now specify -NoWin32Console on the command line to prevent the Windows server from manually allocating/freeing a console window.

What exactly does this mean?

No windows 32 console?

I’d say it doesn’t show a console window for the server.

Yeah, but why wouldn’t someone want a fricking console? How else do they send commands through console without a console?

Maybe it prevents those with windows 32 PCs from joining?

Win32 is like a program architecture, and default system console known as cmd is Win32 so maybe that console won’t be used but something else will be called like Powershell or frickin Linux terminal (totally legit on Windows)

I could see it being a way to let people switch to a more preferred program for a console. RCON is also a thing for a lot of servers so if that’s set up you have a different way to access it.
