No. Just no. The logistics that would be needed to pull this off is insane. Why would you even want to change maps? Sit around in a plane for 8 hours waiting to get across the pacific ocean? I dont want to be rude, but this idea is terrible.

This idea isn’t bad. IIRC Nelson mentioned something similar in the past. Public transportation probably wouldn’t fit into the setting of Unturned, but maybe tunnels, or mountain passes. Not sure where Nuclear Potato got the idea of 8 hour long flights, it would probably just be a loading screen. Pretty sure there are supposed to be public servers in 4.x. The main problem would be that not every server would have a counterpart running the other maps. Maybe if travelling between maps isn’t supported on a server then the tunnels would be blocked off.

Every time this is suggested, I’m going to have to shoot it down. Sorry dude.
You should not be able to just travel between regions given they’re often not directly connected with each other, and you’d basically have to do all the regions in between for immersion/consistency.
E.g: if you can travel via trail/train/plane/boat/etc from Washington to the Yukon, why can’t you travel to BC as well?

You actually don’t have to shoot it down. If you have something helpful to add then bring it up. If any idea is impractical, just ignore it.
I don’t have to, but it’s very irritating to see this among the list of topics that gets reposted by a new person every few weeks.

I think some trvelling around maps would be nice, because there is no way of getting new fancy gun spawning only on the newest map when you are playing on Russia. I think that travelling for quests to different locations would be nice.
I mean, airdrops do exist in Unturned 3. And by extension, Horde Beacons.
