why can’t we put mp4 folders out on the forum? is there any better way to post a freshly recorded video other than putting it on youtube linking IT here ?

File size. The average mp4 file takes up the space of about 91,000 of your average PNG images. Most small sites cannot facilitate this storage. Even larger sites and tools (e.g., Discord) will put a hard cap on length or size, otherwise you have people uploading an hour of mp4 footage which is (on average) at least a GB in size.

if you want to post a video, you can just upload it somewhere else, like discord, then copy the link, and then post it into replies.
