What will the Salvage System look like in 4.X? Will it be the same as 3.0, in that we destroy cars and other vehicles for scrap metal, or will we Hold F to slowly salvage parts and metal off of a car and/or vehicle?

Salvaging just about everything.
Especially THE COUCHES I JUST CRAFTED ACCIDENTLY
I believe you could salvage a vehicle without causing an explosion (for stealth) if you have a crowbar equipped. Because let’s be honest, the crowbar has no use in the game

Why would you need to stealthily salvage a vehicle? Could you elaborate?
well, blowing up a car to take the scrap metal isn’t so silent and would give your position especially at night. This would help keep your position and give you what you want
