Lots of people on this forum have suggested great ideas for enhancing and improving survival game play for 4.X.
However, there always comes a point in time in any survival game where you own everything and have no fear of whats around you (Singleplayer only). Does anyone have ideas on how to break or push back this end?
Make the game harder each night? Like food going down quicker, less loot, more powerful zombies, gas is used quicker, longer respawn times, etc.
It would stop after a long while, of course. You don’t want to eat/refuel/die every twelve seconds.
I was thinking that after a certain number of nights, there is a chance for a horde to spawn. A very small chance, but it can increase each successive night, then reset when the horde is over.
That would be great for singleplayer, but maybe we should get an explanation for some. Food and water are understandable, but fuel? I’d think that just by fixing your car you would fix the fueltank not to leak. It is a good idea, yet needs polishing :3
Maybe make fuel harder to find as time goes on.
That would make way more sense.
I agree on this for the most part, but at the same time as lower loot spawns come in, there should also be super rare items as a reward for lasting that long. In addition to what you suggested
Add more things to manage as well as makeing player made goals like tradeing post towns factions ect easier to do with tools or features that help them with such things like the turret for base defence or keeping people from killing each other or in rust the tradeing machine so you dont need to be present 24/7 to trade
This sounds like content that would be good as mods, but not as vanilla content.
And yes, I’m a Rust vet too.
