I’m literally clueless as to how you can say with a straight face that the game shouldn’t be popular if it has a monopolized plugin market and the other shit you said earlier. Sounds like you’re really trying to force a political ideology into Unturned 4.0 when it really should be simpler.

ImperialPlugins also drops some of the highest quality plugins… Your overall idea of a perfect Unturned 4.0 would literally make the game worse. There would be a LACK of sophisticated plugin content to be released if it’s not for a marketplace for them. These devs won’t spend weeks, sometimes months, coding plugins without pay for 4.0. I paid more than $200 for server plugins that were too sophisticated to ever be released for free to the general public, without IP.

I don’t know about you, but I remember when IP wasn’t so big. 99% of plug-ins used were generic, low quality Rocketmod free ones. The basic shit like uEssentials (an outlier when it comes to free plugins in terms of its high quality), Feasts, etc. Now imagine if we only had those up until 2021… that’s what you’re asking for with Unturned 2. the game would get boring, quick. Yeah there’d be a lack of cliche servers like creative and stuff, but the game would be fucking dead.

If you asked Nelson, I’m sure he’s completely happy with people utilizing the games versatility to try new things on Unturned. This was evident with the Elver update that he had a willingness to expand the game into a different genre essentially. It gives the game a wider variety of style, or way to play it.

You’re calling ImperialPlugins, a literal open marketplace for any talented developer to put out their plugins (for free or for $$$), a monopoly of the plug-in market. It’s like you completely disregarded the purpose of IP right now.

Don’t care about all the SDG political talk, I’m only here because of your flawed “EULA nelson plz people shouldn’t make money for things they spent a lot of time working on” argument that you seem to consistently link to your political opinion, as if that doesn’t fatigue everyone that reads the things you say as you consistently connect socialism to Unturned, but whatever

Also not really cool w how you cherry-pick little fragments of text out of what I said, isolating out the literal point I presented to you as a counter argument almost to pretend it’s not there and didn’t exist. You not only proved that you explicitly chose to not comprehend the majority of what I said, but you also chose to felt backed into a corner because of it. So good job on that ig.

Zman was the motivator for my video talking about how Unturned Youtuber’s are just… Odd and how I thought quite a few weren’t really that neat.
Zman was and continues to be one of the worst Unturned-based Youtuber’s I’ve seen.
I know this is necro’ing but this has left me in a really bad mood and I wanted to address it.

DISCORD SECTION

  • The election claims were false, used little to no evidence besides hey im random unturned player and im sus. Insulting staff by basically saying they’re “stereotypical Discord moderators” for trying to maintain a good community to try and get brownie points due to the stereotype also including pedophelic connotations.
  • The meme punishment might’ve been unfair but you’re ignoring things like what channel it might be and such which could have contributed to the decision making on whether or not that person should’ve been banned. Using the Unturned-topic only channels as meme dumping grounds probably would be considered a rule violation.
  • I don’t think the staff discussing your body’s health was trying to be NSFW in any way~ it was likely just them trying to sound mature while angered and was probably going to be one of those things where a person says x person is a sweaty gamer or something like that. There’s no proof you told them your age as well so… yeah.
  • Danaby2’s ban was more or less fair… Many servers prohibit ahegao and similar things to stay on the safe end of Discord ToS and it shows that the moderation is MORE fair than you claim it is as this highlights that they ignores peoples status and meaning to Unturned when making decisions regarding potential rule violations. I’m glad my sweetie Danaby2 was unbanned though since he’s so nice! ^-^
  • The election disqualification likely had its reasons, it doesn’t seem to line up with Zman’s concept of “it was corruption exposed by Charles to get all the old staff back~!”
    If the situation is serious, staff on many servers would probably not make open drama posts about it.

ROLEPLAY SECTION

  • My2Sicilies owns a Unturned server himself named Melvyn’s RP, I’ve talked to the sweetie and he may or may not be aware of some of my… Issues. Anyways~ I feel like thats important to know due to their potential bias.
  • My2Sicilies takes the cake on the video and he is the main mark of quality in this post.
  • Greedy server owners exist a lot… Yeah. I agree with him fully on the Youtuber servers. Many servers are P2W and meanies! >:0
  • Talking about donor ranks though, its not a uncommon practice. Its existed in Gmod, Minecraft and many other games. Thats why I don’t see it as a special breed of evil or anything as extreme as how Sicilies portrays it.
  • Exiting Sicilies monologue. The DOX and swatting threats are awful and should be reported to staff THEN DISCORD TRUST & SAFETY. Not used as drama dirt.
  • Nice BetterDiscord, way to break ToS.
  • Nice admitting to trolling.
  • Nice claiming people are siphoning donations to someone’s medical expensess for their dog to buy Unturned donator ranks WITHOUT PROOF…
  • HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT A SIGN OF ANY CORRUPTION AND SEEMS TO JUST BE A WAY TO LAMBAST THE COMMUNITY AND HIGHLIGHT SOME ISSUES THAT DON’T EVEN RELATE TO ANYTHING UNTURNED EXCEPT ITS COMMUNITY TO THEN PAWN OFF AS ISSUES WITH UNTURNED ITSELF.

Overall, more awful content by someone who’s a toxic influence on Unturned’s community.

Back to trying to be positive and going far away.

EDIT: The person Zman harasses thankfully is genuinely evil.
Animal abuse is not tolerable, this should not be used to fuel weeks of trolling.
This should be used in a report and a notice to the authorities.

I went on it once and thought it was dumb and then I left. Problem solved. Yes, most large discord servers in my experience have haughty, power-tripping, nepotistic and hostile moderation teams. The thing with the voting/polls doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.

If you want to talk about Unturned and things related to it you can post to the Forum instead - which is literally what you are doing right now. You gain nothing by taking part in a community. If it is a community that is hostile to you and you dislike it, then why are you in it?

The same thing applies to roleplay servers and large, for-profit server networks. I have always found the experience to be very frustrating and toxic, so I stopped playing them and never went on one again. If you don’t enjoy them… don’t play them. Nothing is objectively correct, or objectively good or bad. People play roleplay servers because they enjoy it. If they didn’t enjoy it, why would they play? Just leave people to do what they like, for God’s sake.

Yeah, I don’t really use Discord anymore. To me its only advantage is talking to groups of friends, other than that it doesn’t really appeal to me.

That server was never a “Forum regular” server, nor did I ever claim it was. It’s only ever you who calls it that, for some reason.

That was just a community server that I made a long time ago, but I handed ownership to other people and left. I didn’t know it was even still around, not my fault if it’s dead :confused:

A lot of the known furry staff are no longer at Discord (AT LEAST TRUST & SAFETY). :)))
The ones I’ve met were super sweet and amazing sweethearts~! <3 Especially the support team which were so kind they agreed to telling one of their co-workers they love them or hugging them with a smiley face :3 :)))
Trust & Safety are very hidden nowadays from social media asides from Discord. From my support tickets with them none that I’ve encountered openly have furry PFP’s.
Discord doesn’t do arbitrary bans, I had a friend lets call her Laura and I had to spend the next few months getting her and servers she was in banned for pedophelia and sending explicit pictures.
Discord was so lenient they gave them 2 warnings despite extensive undeleted message link evidence.
It took the last week of that rollercoaster where I sent over about 20 message links for a dfferent trust & safety member to take over the situation and ban them with response and action taken within about 3 hours. (so fast~ <3)
Censorship… Um~ That mainly occurs in partnered or public/verified servers where they do not partner opinions that are considered by many to be discriminatory or just politically incorrect to be given official figuritive endorsement, recognition and validity from Discord itself.

Logs your data- While it is true they log your data, as soon as the message is deleted its done, its wipe off of their systems clean. For a lot of gore servers or raid servers their lack of a temporary holding area for deleted messages or files and their lack of tolerance for screenshots or bot messages is often exploited heavily. They do not log VC’s AT ALL. You could spam the n word or stream all your heinous staff via VC and get away with it. Its also why me and a lot of people I know often reply with “I’m uncomfortable with calling or vc’ing” if we notice a random or a creep asking us to vc or call them. Its a wild west.
