Maybe the fact that very very few people, when asked by popular communities if they’d prefer if Nelson just worked on 4 rather than 4 and Unturned 3, actually said to work on both. If you’re going to take interest in the game’s continued development, then you need be vocal in your community at all times. In general, people seem to have a habit of being vocal only when it suits them.
That aside, last week (and by extension, this week) Nelson was working on getting a new Devlog put out. It was pretty well speculated/known that Devlog 4.0 was going to come out around then, so I personally found it safe to assume there wasn’t going to be an update.
Iirc there have been some unlisted patches that fixed some bugs though, such as 3.24.4.2, and there are some minor bugs Nelson has fixed recently, but has not released a patch/update for yet.
If Nelson does decide to actually put Unturned 3 on the back-burner for a bit though, there’s always curated content in the works in the meanwhile. The full NPC update is coming to Greece whenever it is fully complete, there’s the Isle of Cyprus arena map at some point, and then there is France (and any curated map related patches those teams send through along the way). More timed curated content could be done too, although I’m skeptical of that happening atm. Another Stockpile update or Workshop Crate addition would possibly be more likely, since those take far less planning ahead of time.
The addition of the Community Module will also likely lead to some more interesting things.
The amount of bars on your WiFi bar doesn’t equal your ping. You’re possibly joining servers out of your region, and thus have high ping. You can see server latency before joining the server, and even sort ascending/descending based on it.
Not a bug, just make sure you play on servers that work for you (or better-hosted servers). Or, standing out of the way so the door doesn’t collide with you would probably help too if you choose to remain on that server.
4 and Unturned 3 are separate games. 4 has development with Linux and Mac in mind, and Nelson’s official servers run off Linux. Linux support—and by extension, Mac support—will be better, fortunately!
