It’s lack of knowledge about vac bans. People (most of them are young children) think vac bans are “appealable” because they have never been banned on the same degree before. For example, if you get banned from a server, you can just switch to another. If you get vac banned, you’re completely unable to join any server. They aren’t given much information on how vac bans work (and they don’t bother to even research) and where to appeal if they think they have been banned mistakenly or they can get a second chance, so they come here on the forums, begging for unbans.
Also let’s note that if you google “unturned i got vac banned” you will see similar forum posts on main page.
It changes absolutely nothing. People will still hack even if you find it funny or not. I personally find it more sad than funny because they need an unfair advantage to be “good” while they could actually get better by playing the game and mastering several aspects over time. Now you hacked and got banned, did you really need that trouble and waste of time?
That’s the literal definition of ban evading.
Basically this. If they didn’t hack in the first place, no one would have to go through such trouble.
Edit: Also, in case it wasn’t crystal clear:
I do not defend hackers in any way or form, and i believe their bans are fully deserved.

Problem is, there is a fine line between genuine regreta and failure to accept ones punishment.
Seeing as it is next to impossible to prove one or the other the current system (perms for the lot for them) is far from perfect, but probably the best solution.

Tou dont need to even do that. If there are games on the pc you can just redownload them.

Joke ran its course. Remember to just report “ban appeal” topics when you see them. In the future, a policy specifically targeting the behavior might be ideal.
