Have not played it myself, but from what I can gather it is a solid shooter that should not have been open world. Looks and seems like a 6 or 7 out of 10 at best, but that is perfectly acceptable. The industry needs more middle-shelf games and chances are I am going to pick it up in a few years time.

Borderlands crappy competitor. All I think there is for story is that you are the “president,” and you have to murder everything to keep being the president. It also seems like it is supposed to be a “rip-off” of doom, but whatevs.
Looks like Anthem
Rage looks like a solid middle-shelf game, while Anthem is just a complete and utter failure.
One of the numerous bugs that infested this mess actually made the game better according to the community. Guess which one got patched.
And let’s not even get into the whole “live services” shabbang.
Also to mention how the damage values are inconsistent on most of the weapons.
