Will 4.0 have VR support?

Having something like a VR horde mode or VR editor would be kinda nice what do you think?

I do believe Unreal Engine has VR support for its tools now, so it’d probably be possible to have a VR editor (again-ish), yeah.

i like the idea for VR editor but it would be a bit of a waste of time for Nelson

Not really, it would probably be added later down the line. Also, not many people know that there already is a VR editor in 3.

I really dont know why it was removed, i recently got a vive and wanted to try it out but to my dissapointment it was gone :(((

EDIT: Made Danaby test it and he couldn’t get it to work.

"Rather frequently Vive owners [were] downloading Unturned for the VR mode (quite reasonably) assuming it’s the main game, and [were] disappointed to learn it’s currently only for the level editor. [It was] also annoying for non-Vive owners [to have] the SteamVR category and SteamVR launch options.

To help with these I […] disabled the VR support info from Steam, and added more in-game information about launching it from the editor menu. While all recent editor upgrades have been applied to the VR version as well I do still want to do some VR specific upgrades, for example adding physical tools and a toolbox to carry them in, but judging from the negativity surrounding the initial VR update these should be prioritized after the core game’s development has settled down." ―Nelson

Localization files still exist for this too:

VR_Label Roomscale VR
VR_Hint_0 Launch with -VR for VR menu
VR_Hint_1 Disable desktop theater!

So (theoretically?) just launch the game with -VR. I believe all of this was mentioned in a patch note, but I don’t specifically have a Vive afaik, so I can’t test that.
