Maybe some tree blocking the road, it would fit the post apocaliptic theme. Bumb mapping could be nice too.

On that tree blocking the road idea it would also be very cool if it was hard to get around it because of the forest so you have to clear the road with a chainsaw or axe unlike 3.0 where you have to place a giant plate and just ramp it.
