That seems extremely basic and took about 20 minutes in photoshop. The zombies and person just look glued on to the strangely (but good looking)blue background.
I agree that it’s pretty basic. I’m an amateur after all, and this never supposed to be a professional picture. It’s rather an exercise, so I can get better.
I’m pleased that you like the blue background

The main things I would work on would be having a more-interesting background(a road, yippee) and applying the shader to both the zombies and humans.
