Finally!!! 
How nice it was to finally hear the screenshot sound…
This was the one time when having a Mac was useful, because the steam overlay still worked!
how? battleeye thought that it was a hack so it blocked it.
Probably because the Steam Overlay thing was slightly different to the one on other OSes, and actually appeared legit.

To clarify: BE did not block Steam Overlay because it thought it was a “hack.” Steam Overlay opened up insecurities that made it easier to hack games, so BE manually disabled it entirely until they could coexist without hurting the game or allowing the exploitation of the BE software.
