Whenever I press left click - whether it be in the inventory or map - it exits whatever I’m in and throws a punch, making the game unplayable.

Easter Island just doesn’t load in. It goes instantly to the end of the loading bar and then doesn’t do anything.
Easter Island works, It seems you might have encountered an issue with loading or downloading the map.
