A Minor but Much Needed Car Sound Tweak

Currently, the volume of the car engines changes depending on the RPM, it’s a good feature, but it needs a little tweak to make the cars feel even more alive.

Basically, the engine sound needs to quiet down as soon as you stop pressing on the gas (releasing the W key or while changing a gear).

That is implemented in almost every game featuring even slightly decent car features, and i think it really needs to be implemented in Unturned aswell. With that small change, gearshifts immediately will be more noticable and realistic, and the cars will sound more alive overall.

I’m very hopeful to see that in the game, since i’m making a very car-focused project with many revolutionary car related features.

Good suggestion, I think it would be done in the next vehicle update.

Carr update 2 should include this!!! I support the idea

well sure hope it happens earlier than in like 10 years =.=

also fix exhaust gameobject or add similar system to have good exhaust particles + allow revving engine while handbrake engaged

  • on crawlers allow a seperate audio for the tracks which can play seperately from the engine

one feature that I wanted that was related to guns was added like a year later and it’s not even out yet on the preview branch.
