It does the same things as the current crossbow, but has some more details.
comes with a support for 4 arrows ie it can carry up to 4 arrows on itself without taking up space in your inventory.
-has a 3x telescopic sight looks like half OP but would be very useful.
-And a basic model without the quiver, weaker, and with a sightseer to a red dot.
It would be a possibility but I think crossbows that already come with these equipments would be pretty good, though you could also add sights and and quivers in the simpler crosbows however they would continue to give less damage than the stronger ascrosbow.
See, a crossbow similar to simple put but with an added quiver.
The arbalest (also arblast) was a late variation of the crossbow coming into use in Europe during the 12th century. A large weapon, the arbalest had a steel prod (ābowā). Since the arbalest was much larger than earlier crossbows, and because of the greater tensile strength of steel, it had a greater force. However, the greater draw weight was offset by the smaller powerstroke, which limited its potential in fully transferring the energy into the crossbow bolt. The strongest windlass-pulled arbalests could have up to 22 kN (5000 lbf) of force and be accurate up to 100 m. A skilled arbalestier (arbalester) could loose two bolts per minute. source
Sights are already handled through the attachment menu and these quivers are basically the same as shell carriers, which youāve already created a thread about. I guess crossbows of various draw weights could be added, but they certainly arenāt necessary at such an early stage of development, and I doubt theyāll be completely changing the meta further down the line.
What @GreatHeroJ said.
While weāre at it, Iām going to throw in the repeating crossbow.
It was a Chinese invention that included a top-feeding āmagazineā that allowed for multiple shots in quick succession.
theirs a game that has a crossbow that fires three arrows with a ammo capicity of 9. I forgot what it was called. It sort of like Cod, but its in a castle.
In my personal opinion specific item suggestions for Unturned II are a bit wierd
we donāt know how a lot of game mechanics will even work
Some mechanics are subject to change
Honestly sometimes I think your suggesting something for 3.0
Besides jokes, how bout you turn it down a bit. Your making more suggestions that your starting to run out of them. Take time, think of ideas (which requires a lot of time and itās not instant), and make a topic.
