TLDR: Selecting multiple objects is tedious, groups would be easier to select.
Often you work with multiple objects that are related but isn’t one object. A building for example can have decoration and furniture. Selecting multiple objects take painstakingly long and is tedious. A simple grouping system would improve the workflow and efficiency for everyone!
This would be a nice QoL improvement! I’m not sure when I’m next going to be doing big updates to the level editor, however. (Gameplay updates are my main focus at the moment.)
Yes, I am aware that the box selection tools exists. However, the tool does not cover all cases, it can miselect things especially when you are trying to select things in a non-boxed shaped matter.
Like stated above, manually selecting lots of objects can be time consuming especially when you need to edit the group of objects often. The feature I’m suggesting would mitigate this.
