Achievements in 4.0 (Important)

Achievements. An important topic in every game. It is interesting to perform each of them and the more achievements - the more time a player will play in the game. Example: the number of achievements in CS: GO, L4D2, Payday2, Killing Floor2. It’s interesting to compare your statistics and the statistics of another player.

I suggest Nelson pay attention to the number of achievements in the new version of the game. This is a pleasant topic.

Examples of achievements:

I like how it says “Peaceful” when you kill 200 people
There are a few names I would like to change…

Craftsman

Headhunter

Need for speed

Sailfish

As for extra achievements, I would suggest these…

  • Arena Novice - Win an Arena match
  • Arena Specialist - Win 3 Arena matches consecutively
  • Arena Adept - Win an Arena match without your health reaching below 50%
  • Arena Master - Win 5 Arena matches consecutively

Huntsman:
Kill 10 animals

Fus Ro Dah:
Kill a player with a rocket launcher

Very similar to the CS:GO achievements imo, plus most of them are almost idenditcal to the previous one, the arena ones for example.

Almost identical. But each is more difficult than the last one.
And yeah, I did use a few odeas from the CSGO achievements since they do add a small extra challenge to the game
However, I don’t see anything wrong with them. Just something extra for the players to do. Some will require the interference of luck. Like CSGO’s “Kill an enemy with a grenade after you die”

More creative names similar to the achievements that other games like RS2:V feature would be awesome as well because humor and memes.

Ex: Walls Can’t Save You Now!: Kill an enemy through a wall or other piece of cover.

Well, walls can’t be shot through
And if 4.0 will have penetration mechanics, which it most probably will, you wouldn’t be able to penetrate something so solid like a wall. It should be something thin like plywood, wooden doors, chairs, tables, gebsonboards (or however it’s spelled) and such

concrete and wood walls can be penetrated though.

But of course, not with the first shot
But we don’t want 4.0 to be like CS 1.3 where you could shoot through 5 walls like thin air. Or shoot someone on a bridge when you’re under it
Let’s just keep it simple for Nelson to code. Because having interactable walls like in R6 Siege would be a pain because it needs a big team to finish it. So, let’s keep it simple and allow anything thinner than the width of a metal wall to be penetratable. But of course, damage would receive a 0.5x multiplier

Wall penetration should depend on the caliber of the weapon you’re firing and the material you’re shooting through

And the thickness. Cuz if wood can be shot through, that doesn’t mean a player can shoot through a tree.
As you said

Concrete walls are too solid to be shot through using 5.56 or 7.62 rounds with 1 round. Again, this is a game and there should be balancing
So, I’m sticking to my answer.
