Add DLSS to the game

Add DLSS so people with good gpus can get more fps pls!

Or you could actually fix and improve them game for everyone instead of catering to the minority of users that can take advantage of DLSS

Early DLSS can be ran by a lot of cards, primarily most of the RTX cards that have came out. For instance, my 3060 can handle DLSS in games like Cities: Skylines pretty well. Not sure if the ability to use DLSS is a minority.

Unfortunately, DLSS isn’t something we can support at this moment.

We would need to be using the “High Definition Render Pipeline” in newer versions of Unity for the current integration with the engine.

It’s more likely that it could be supported if/when all of the following is true: 1. Unity consolidates their built-in render pipelines, 2. Nvidia DLSS supports that renderer, and 3. Unturned is able to update to that.

Yeah, the 20 seires and up spports DLSS 2.0, for 3.0 you need a 40 Series.
Woudln’t be a small minority if you settled for 2.0, but if you impliment it I’d say try and aim for the latest version but keep compatibilty for 2.0 and 3.0 if you can (dunno if that’D work and too lazy to check.). Point still stands, that time would easily be better spent fixing the game and improving it for everyone, especially considering what Molt said.

Fair point. Keeping compatibility would probably be a hassle. At least the Unity support is there for it (if you use HDRP), given that a game like C:S II can support DLSS for 30 series and 40 series.

But hopefully we’ll get some proper performance improvements involving code refactoring.
