There are already a lot of good tools out there for making 3d models, which have been created by developers or even teams of developers, who dedicate a lot of time and effort specifically to that software. I don’t think Nelson developing his own modeling software would really be necessary for Unturned, and would probably be detrimental, as Nelson will already be dividing his dev time between two games.
Making an internal model editor is not a solution to user error. Rather than focus on software as a response, proper documentation on relevant things makes more sense to help with that (and is already planned/in-progress for most of 4’s modding features).
User error will always exist though. That’s really just a problem the user has to work on their own most of the time too, or with the assistance of reference videos / guides.
