Simple suggestion, I believe adding an Audio Dialogue support for NPCs could prove interesting and immersive. I realize Nelson would not do any voice acting himself for NPCs but I think leaving the door open for other people could work quite well.
tldr: Bandits should say “An nu Cheeki Breeki iv Damke!”
This should be “very easy” to implement also in 3.0, by being able to attach audio files to each npc’s dialogue line. It would be very cool to have in 3.0 tbh, I hope that this gets added in both versions of Unturned.
The only problem is that it would sound very weird to have the voice of a real person in Unturned. It just doesn’t seem like it’d fit all that well. Maybe that’s me, but if I heard a bunch of bandits yell “ANUU CHEEKI BREEKI I V DAMKE” as they flanked me, I’d be very confused.
You do have a pretty good point, that is a small piece of the charm in Unturned, that it includes no body actually speaking, just text. Call me crazy, but this kind of dialogue support might just be a coming of age for Unturned, and could help more creative map makers.
