I was also thinking if someone would be able to make a blacksmith npc mod that can reforge your weapons that can come with side effects to them like bleeding, greater force, etc and with negative effects to like less critical hit chance and damage.
Thought that would be cool to make/add.
Some of your suggestions aren’t possible as a Workshop mod (like “less critical hit chance”), but the other stuff is.
You could create a bunch of variants for one item (e.g., “Baseball Bat”, “Strong Baseball Bat”, and “Slow Baseball Bat”), and then have an NPC where you can turn items in for a random variant. You could use the
Item_Random reward type.
