Will there be pillars for building in U2?
If they don’t exist in vanilla then I can bet you a mod will add them.
I’d say yes but we don’t know what exactly Nelson has planned for them. He may consider removing pillars so that player-built structures look a little more like buildings placed in the editor. Or a hybrid of pillars and regular walls could be used. Walls could be made to not require pillars, but to build upwards you would need some sort of support for each corner which could be either walls or the pillars as in 3.0 if you didn’t need a complete enclosure.
