Bullet deviation in the sight which was added in update 3.22.16.0
In the vanilla game this function does not particularly affect because the shooting distance is a maximum of 300 meters
But on mod servers where guns shoot at least up to 2 kilometers (it is clear that players will not be displayed at such a distance, but that is not the point)
Recently playing on a war rp server where I shot at a distance of about 500 meters, aiming exactly at the head of another lying sniper, instead of a head, it just flew to the floor. Having asked a friend for a laser, I saw that the laser was pointing absolutely not in the center of the crosshair, but a few millimeters lower and slightly to the left
Moreover, after each death, the laser moves further and further and after re-entering the server again shows in the center of the crosshair
Below I will attach a screenshot where the target is at a distance of 475 meters and you will understand that even a couple of millimeters of bullet drift is very strong affect
What deviated is the crosshair lasers are supposed to be on the wall you are aiming at i mean ill check it out for myself later either way cant see the laser like that you arent even aiming at a clear wall.
I attached a screenshot just so you understand what a person is at a distance of 500 meters, there is no laser there and at that moment I could not reproduce it, but after many deaths I managed to achieve some result!
You should try repeating what you did in the video but with scope quality turned off and also with different guns. It’s hard to tell from the video but it’s possible it’s an error with the aiming animation of the gun itself, if the aiming animation ends with a frame where the gun is not perfectly straight, aiming with it won’t be perfectly straight, scope quality off bypasses that by not using the actual sight/animations. That should verify whether it’s any sort of game issue or animation issue.
