I know hang gliders and parachutes are planned, but what if we could also have this outfit?
the clothes just make you soar and while you’re “flying” you can’t use any kind of weapon.

It would be cool in singleplayer but in pvp it would only make you a target for people with guns.

The thing is that unlike fishing, construction and PvP, a glide suit has no place in a survival game and fits more as a mod.
You wouldn’t expect random item suggestions to gain any traction.
