The thing is when you go in reverse on the car the numbers put in red or another color, is only for confort
As opposed to the color changing, I’d prefer a negative sign.
This should have several options for people like us who disagree with each others’ personal preferences.

I actually want a proper speedometer gauge instead of just a number… which eliminates the problem of negative velocity.

The speedometer as of now, from what I can see, is better than a gauge for the purpose of readability.
