Now, we’ve seen the Devlogs, and we’ve seen the crosshairs. And we all know that what we have seen is just a placeholder.
So, I would like to ask you guys which crosshair should be used for 4.x when a gun is equipped and when a melee weapon is equipped.
My suggestion, keep the melee crosshair, change the gun’s crosshair to a dynamic crosshair that is 4 dashes perpendicular to each other and distant from each other.
However, a shotgun’s crosshairs should be the ones that Nelson has used in his Devlogs. Circular.
Pretty sure Nelson already said that this was his plan. Either on one of the Devlog response Forum posts, or in a Steam chat between two people.
Something similar to Devlog #003’s crosshair as the main one for most rifles, and something similar to Devlog #001’s circular crosshair for shotguns.
Personally, I think the circular crosshair could probably be applied to LMGs, tbh. Kinda depends on how Nelson wants to handle LMG functionality. Bows could probably get their own unique crosshair made, if he wanted.
I highly doubt this will actually happen, but there’s also the possibility of someone perhaps making their own custom crosshairs. It happens to a lot of shooter games, and frankly, I don’t see too much of an issue with that given things don’t get too crazy.
