Mainly I’m looking into making underwater, or general travel over it, more risky.
A easy place to start is some animal A.I.
Crocks, stingrays, sharks, stonefish, exa.
And then maybe some underwater currents (as objects in editor). They will drag players in the direction it’s going obviously. (So when you cross a mountain stream you will be pushed to the side, or sucked under rocks on rapids).
Aqatic based zombies maybe? (Blue-green, faster in water, slower on land, small fins?).
What are your ideas to make the underwater world more Intresting?
(Also weather events spring to mind, like whirlpool maybe?)

Maybe zombie with moss and algae growing on them as if they’d been underwater for so long, also maybe gills and different eyes? Though certainly this feature is no priority

I say aggressive so players always have to worry.
However they almost always will swim at surface level with there fins bobbing up as a telltale sign.
How much damage, attack speed, debuffs, hp, and agro range whould be balanced though?
I say moderately armed players should be able to take it out in the water (with most hp gone). However freshspawn=death.

Water physics would be a neat feature, and would open up the possibilities of float rafts.

Water dangers? Oh yeah! I have two:
- Piranha: Any explanation needed here? Just the classic, flesh-stripping, type.
- Candiru: These south american fish are even more frightening than the piranha. They are attracted to urea in fish gills and lodge themselves into large fish gills via rows of tiny spines facing backwards along their body length. Why do we care? Cuz on a human urea comes from our genitals and anus and these little guys love themselves dark, tight holes to creep up into. Even today, once one these guys gets into you, you’re dead. Try to pull em out they wiggle deeper. Try to cut em out, ditto. By the time a surgeon can remove it they’ve chased em through your digestive tract to your spleen and you’re nothing but hamburger by then. Left alone they cannot get themselves out (cuz we are not fish) so they cause a deadly blockage. You have a day or two to live. http://funcfish.com/2011/02/the-scariest-fish-in-the-world/

I’m just gonna put this out there but great white sharks have been caught off the coast of P.E.I. before!

How about some water resources to draw you into diving deep into these dangerous waters?
Food
Crafting materials
- Blowfish: Poison, for tipping knives and arrows
- Sea Urchins: Needles, for sewing to stop bleeding and repair cloths
- Sharks: These guys provide truly amazing water-proof leather and food.
- Smooth stones: Slings? A sling can take down a bear, lion, or human with a head-shot easily, and they are silent.

Instead of adding a special aquatic type of zombie, I think normal zombies should be capable of floating and/or deep wading
I think it depends. Unless they breathe they should just sink and skulk along the bottom like they do today. If a zombie needs to breathe then it’ll drown and die. Our bouyancy depends on air in our lungs.
Uhh hell no. Not having a parasite fish crawl inside my unturned characters man part. Nonononono thank you!

Behold the wonder of nature!
Probably shouldn’t show that image at all, for it is inappropriate.

@7thScar Quickly do what harvest said please
Carandiru é peixe foda, pra pegqr é um trabalho imenso. It is a must
So it’s a yes then?
Great!
(And yes, underwater resources whould be nice too, all the ideas, exempt one … You know what… Are great!!! )
You’re right of course. Wasn’t thinking. Apologese.
wait… did a squid or something go inside of that fish? or is that a parasite? ergh.
