If you set a topic to Watching, replies to the topic, normal posts, show up in your notification tab no different then posts that are replying directly to you in the same topic, causing some confusion. There should be something discerning the two, like the little reply arrow being green for replies to you and blue for replies to just the topic. (standard posts)
Nothing we can do about it.

The green is for private messages. I dont think ot can be changed.
