A really small suggestion
So the idea is that any explosives e.g grenades, mortar shells, mines and other things that explode on dirt/sand would throw up dust and dirt into the air.
And what is the point with this? Well i think it gives the game more of the immersive feeling, its easier to see explosions from further distances and its more clear where it exploded.
And think about it “your crawling trough a field close to a big base and suddenly there are mortar shells exploding all around you” thats the feeling Im looking for.
And who dosnt wannt to see their enemy get blown the fuck up

I’d love to see that! Who wouldn’t honestly? You could use the 3D models from the drift particles that were in the car demo or devlog (don’t know which cause i didn’t get the demo cough cough), and use them for these explosion spikes(?)
the drift particles aren’t optimal for explosion spikes and dust because they look more like pebbles than small air particles, smoke textures with a brown tint tend to work a lot better.
Well, of course not the exact model, but I would still rather see a 3D particle explosion that looks closer to the pictures rather than the generic smoke texture.
