How do you guys pronounce "schofield" and "chimera"?

I’ve been discussing this with a friend a lot of times, and he always pronounce them as “shot-file” and “Chee-mera”

I pronounce them as “Sko-field” and “Kee-mera”

Who is wrong? him,me or both?

Skho field and chim era

oh well,i guess im right, even if i always called it “kee-mera”,i mean, its closer than “chee-mera” and i suppose its the same with the schofied

Your friend sounds German.

Jokes aside, while I personally pronounce Schofield as “show-field”, I accept “sko-field” as correct.

Chimera is definitely “ky-mera” though.
