Hello, in my difficult life I have had the opportunity to see many tournaments, good and bad, difficult and not so, but what I saw how this tournament was held for gold skins was incredible, when I entered the server I noticed that not 2 playing teams entered but 3, the team with which we were supposed to play confirmed that it was playing with us, but it was ignored and they also ignored the response from the 3rd team, taking it for the team with which we were supposed to play, although they wrote that they should not play with us, but they still said to start and we started, when we reached the score 2-0 the 2nd team with which we were supposed to play started spamming that we were playing with the wrong team and the ADMINS finally saw this and what happened? After another 5 minutes of arguing and waiting, they decide to cancel the match that was almost over (remember, the score was 2-0 and the match ended 3-0). They just tell the 3rd team to come out and start all over again, wait 10 minutes until they figure out the table of who is playing with whom and until they give the 2nd team gear…
Ask how we got our gear for pvp? Oh, maybe there was a kits team? Or did it give it to us via a plugin? No no no, we got our gears through a wooden box in which the admins put the gear for us -- And also when we restored resources after each fight, the admin just dropped it for himself --
As I was told, this tournament was announced a month ago and the preparation for it was just zero, as if a couple of hours before the start of the tournament people were told that they were holding a tournament and they only managed to find a random arena with a workshop (which was clearly the case) and buy hosting and a MONTH was spent on all this, how was this even acceptable? Do you at least somehow check people’s preparation for the tournament? There was no live broadcast to see how the tournament was being held… Do you know why there was no broadcast? Because no one prepared for the tournament… If for such preparation and a slapdash tournament you really give them gold skins, it will be a fiasco, in a month of preparation it was possible to almost perfectly prepare the tournament and not this something… I am very disappointed.
Hi, @yo. I’m sorry to hear about your poor experiences with their tournament. They’ve had a number of technical difficulties lately, which has definitely soured the experience for some players (such as yourself). I appreciate the feedback. Although we like to work with a range of new and preexisting event hosts, it’s important that events can meet expectations.
What happened with the tournament exactly? Discord is gone(nuked probably), it was halfway through. Somebody told me that 5hp won? But there were still lots of matches to be played? Cheaters were allowed to play (actual people with gamebanned accounts) Can we please get any info on what happened <3
I’m disappointed to share that we don’t yet have clarity on what caused the server to be deleted—and due to time zone differences we likely won’t know today.
Unfortunately, this incident and other technical issues have repeatedly disrupted the event, despite earlier assurances from the host that it would run smoothly with their experience. These disruptions have had a major impact on what should have been an enjoyable PvP experience.
As a result, we won’t be awarding trophy skins for this event. Without reliable data on participation, it wouldn’t be fair or accurate to do so.
That said, we’ve been in touch with more experienced event organizers throughout the year. We hope the affected players will have the chance to take part in a more stable and enjoyable event in the future.

The event was going very well, the only problem was that now the server was deleted, but I believe that the admin will be able to reverse this situation.

Its dissapointing. All they need to do is finish quarter, semi, and grand finals for skins, i dont know why were giving up on this. all the teams worked hard to prepare and were all good sports.
I agree with you that it’s had some difficulties but teams who are affected by suspicious players were allowed to appeal and rematch the other teams on new conditions being that the other team has to stream their gameplay to the admin the most recent case I can think of is 5hp vs some Russian team were they initially lost 3-1 and after they won 3-2 because the other team’s cheater was disqualified it would be heartbreaking for all the legit teams who have made it so far to lose over some nuke/ or staff errors when LDG tournaments get DDOSED or have update issues
Man we were in the quarter finals and then stuff I cannot control happened I hope the admin has good reliable information on what happened tmr because all the affected teams in quarter finals are known very well in freezer and other communities id be much better to see who wins out of remaining teams
Look at the light at the end of the tunnel, only the discord got nuked, its not like the server is deleted or any of the brackets. we have all the data, he just needs to create a new discord server and it may continue. I doubt they would shut down the tournament over a silly mistake like this. It happens, even to trusted events such as LDG and WeslieG, its hard to prevent.
What happened today with the tournament is truly disappointing. The remaining 8 teams were all popular and skilled, and they were still fighting for spots in the quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand finals. It’s disheartening to see some of the best players in the game let down like this.
Many of us made sacrifices just to participate—some skipped school or work, and others stayed up all night despite being in different time zones, all for a chance to win a skin. We were fully committed and invested in this event.
I hope you can understand where we’re coming from, and that this feedback is taken seriously.
Man it would be a complete injustice for the remaining teams who all have good rep + twitch, medal, and YouTube links across other unturned communities to have their hopes shattered over some admin deleting server who probably had a problem with other admins. This tournament like OTHER TOURNAMENTS experienced issues which can be avoided but teams have already made it very far and should be allowed to have rescheduled matches in order to compete for the skins. It would be tragic that liamdoesgame’s elver tournament had rewards while literally collapsing at the 4hr mark and a simple discord server deletion causing an entire event to be cancelled when teams from NA already made it so far
I disagree, for how rare Ldg and weslieG events are, it would potentially cripple the playerbase.
If anything we need to have way more events. its not impossible to change how they are hosted. Perhaps nelson or the support team could create a Tournament discord with discord invites to each tournament. that way all support members could monitor them. along with clear expectations from SDG and how to host a tournament yourself. at this current point in time it seems that only after a new map releases we get 1 new tournament, which is once every 1 to 2 years.
it never happened to Weslie or Liam, this happens only when you let a person with 500 hours that nobody knows host a tournament. I don’t think it’s SDG’s fault, they just trusted the wrong people.
edit: In my personal opinion, I don’t think LDG/weslie’s events are ‘rare’, it’s just that trophy skins are supposed to be rare.
Lets not act like the LDG elver tournament didnt get DDOSSED and shut down 2 hrs after grace period ended. They still got their skins. ITs happened to weslieG in the past, lets not ignore that.
The tournament can still continue, just because you lost doesnt mean it ended for other people. may it continue.
you also lost (5hp) technically to a team, but then started crying, and ‘replayed’ the match lmao. LDG had no control over the DDOS and it wasnt his fault, in this case (3v3 EUL) it’s completely the 13year old with 500 hours in Unturned’s fault that hosts the tournament (aka ur friend). Cope.
The tournament was going well, and well organized, it just had a issue with russians, and they resolved it, the peaplos in this forum who are blaming the tournament are these who lost their match, they are just mad about it, just bring it back with trophy skins
