Well, everything is fine, except for the ammo bit. Making stuff rarer doesn’t negate if it’s useful or not. If I end up finding ammo, there’s nothing stopping me from killing people is there? Instead you should’ve focused on ammo and guns in general being weaker or harder to control.
I have always wanted more hostile animals, especially in oceans. From what I have been told, the Hawaii team asked Nelson if they could do it, but Nelson said he would have to make a whole new pathfinding method for them, so it was shot down. But hopefully, we can have this for 4.x
Harder Zombies is a possibility, in my Opinion, easy should have 3.x difficulty for Zombies, Normal should have more ways of attacking, be Faster with there attacks and telegraph less, on top of the extra damage. And hard should have 2.x difficulty, with the Fast attacking, and close to no warning of an attack, on top of the new attacks, the Normal Zombies have.
I Have also wanted Hordes of Zombies looking for players, but in my opinion, they shouldn’t be Random. With 3.x you have areas where you can build without Zombie interference. However, I take you are suggesting these hordes just roam around randomly, which would be cool but could interfere with these building areas. Another issue is how the rest of the Zombies in-game act. If they stand around like in 3.x then it would make no sense why some Horde is just wandering around all of a sudden. Maybe something would have to happen to trigger it, if so maybe players could trigger it, meaning a player could indirectly kill you, or destroy your base by triggering one of these hordes, or a “Leader” zombie spawns that riles the rest of the Zombies up, and killing them might end the Horde, it would just be identifying which zombie it was causing the Horde.
That will just make people conserve ammo more for players, and not on Zombies, would just be more annoying to play the game at that point.
Not a bad idea, for example, when you unload a gun you can get a Mag full of spent rounds, you can choose to empty the mag of the spent rounds or keep them in there, you can either craft these spent rounds into Makeshift ammo, or melt them down into scrap metal. This would also allow for ammo to be rarer, though this will definitely be the “Ammo to use on Zombies” ammo.
I pretty much agree with this.
