Returned to Unturned after a while and wanted to update my maps because they have seemed to broke when the editor updated. The bake tool for foliage is super unintuitive.
Before the update you were able to select what materials and foliage / resources would spawn. Also what the density of them would be too. Keep in mind this is all in the map editor. I’m not saying it was perfect it also was difficult to grasp. However, It didn’t require as much editing and messing with files as the current system. I feel like the new foliage settings are good in some aspects but the baking needs more user friendly tweaking.
I might be dumb and not truly understand how the new system works however, there is barely any documentation I could find.
Also, looking at the official discord in the map development channel plenty of other people also get confused.
