I find it stupid that you can build a huge tower and parachute down onto a base or just make a base ontop of a vehicle.
I think this system should be limited to only sandbags, hesco walls and the like.
I don’t mind it outside of vehicles. It definitely needs to be disabled for vehicles though, because you can do some pretty unrealistic things with it in 3.0.
I think that you should have to put down supports for it to stay up.
I still want to attach crates to the back of my vehicle, but I agree that building an entire base on it is way too much.
A weight system maybe?
Somehing like rust would be nice.
I say freeform building should only work on trailers and pickup trucks, and other buildables would only snap to specific parts (like how window fortifications will work.)
Yarrr suggested only allowing items to be attached in certain areas of a car, so your crates are limited to a certain area on the back, your spikes and spinning zombie shredder can only go on the bumpers, and plates can only cover the wheel wells.
modular vehicles should be an alternative to freeform on vehicles
I personally think that freeform and other ridiculous building quirks don’t fit the better and more professional 4.0 but I enjoy messing around and having building freedom.
Also once on a creative server a put plates on an APC and spawned in a Cerberus on top of it.It stayed on long enough to do some damage.
