I think we need to make a new animation of the shell casings, because now they are falling endlessly down and it looks lousy.
If you switch to third person view you’ll see that they actually had physics
I know, but from the first person it looks lousy
its because the First Person Character model is basically in a different Scene to prevent some visual difference, thats also why when u have your viewmodel goofy u can only see your arms and nothing else.
As Shiriko mentioned, this happens because there are separate copies of first and third-person bullet casings, unfortunately. Ideally, the first-person view would show the third-person model, but even on a medium size map they start to shake and jitter noticeably towards the borders. Both Unreal and Godot now support 64-bit coordinates, so if we’re lucky and Unity follows suit it’s possible we’ll be able to merge both models in the future.
